The warrant was opened by the Board of Selectman on August 21, 2017 and closed on Thursday, September 14, 2017.  Any questions should be directed to the Selectmen’s Office at the town office.

Residents may also register to vote by mail online or by calling the Town Clerk’s Office at 508 252-6502, Extension 109 or 110.


Absentee Ballots

Absentee ballots are obtained by written request only and must have the voter’s original signature. Absentee ballot application forms are also available online for an individual request. Or for a request by a family member, go here. Any questions regarding voter eligibility or requests for mail-in absentee ballot applications may be directed to the Town Clerk’s Office. If you are not sure about your registration status or what precinct you vote in, check your voter status on the Secretary of State’s website.  If your registration indicates your voter status as inactive, please contact the Town Clerk’s office.

Mail Drop Box

Residents can now ‘drop off’ forms, fee and payments in a convenient mail box installed at the town office outside the front entrance. Please do not enclose cash money, only checks.



Dog Licenses:

Males/females: $20

Neutered/Spayed: $10

Available at the Town Clerk’s office Monday thru Thursday from 8 AM to 4 PM and on Friday from 8 AM to 12 Noon. If paying by check, please make sure it is made payable to Town of Rehoboth. You can pay online.  Dog licenses are due annually by April 1. Whether renewing online, via mail, or in person, dog license applications must be accompanied by a current year rabies certificate (with a vaccination date covering the current licensing year) and proof of spay or neuter [if applying for the $10 licensing fee] unless the documentation is already on file in the Clerk’s Office.  Dog owners should note that the license(s) will not be returned unless a stamped, self-addressed envelope is included with the postage (71¢ for one dog tag, 93¢ for two dog tags and $1.15 for three dog tags).

Open Burning

Open Brush Burning

Season from January 15 thru May 1

Burning season will begin January 15, 2017 and run through May 1, 2017. The Rehoboth Fire Department issues permits for open burning seven days a week from 9 AM to 12 Noon at Fire Station 1, 334 Anawan Street (back entrance door). $5 per permit, paid by check or money order only. Please be cognizant of the rules and regulations for open burning as there have been some changes for 2017. Burning is only allowed until 4 PM on approved days. Fine of up to $50 for open burning first offense. Please call 508-252-3725 with questions or visit the RFD page for full details.



Old Flags

Veterans Services Office

Old and worn American flags should never be thrown in the trash.  They should never be burned in your back yard.  Give them to either a civic organization or veterans’ organization that conducts a dignified disposal ceremony.  The Veterans’ Service Officer at Town Hall has a box for old flags.



Town Medical Alert

Residents with special medical needs or disabilities can sign up, on a voluntary basis, for a medical alert list.  During emergency situations, such a severe weather events and loss of power, the town’s emergency services would like to know who might need special medical consideration, particularly those with oxygen dependency, ventilators, mobility issues, seizure disorders, visual or hearing impairment, etc. Parents or guardians of those with special needs or developmental disabilities are also encouraged to sign up.  Patient privacy laws pertain to any information provided.
